Why Experience uLethbridge?

Experience is everything in a modern workforce. That’s why we have developed two exciting new opportunities that ease your transition to university, and then into a 21-Century workforce after you graduate.

EARLY START EXPERIENCE

Through our Early Start Experience, you can take a liberal education course for credit before the start of the fall term. The Early Start Experience is open to first-year students in all bachelor’s degree programs.

The course (LBED 1500 - The First-Year Experience: Mapping our Communities) has been developed to promote your success and ease your transition from high school to university, while giving you credit towards your degree. Liberal education teaches you how to think critically and become a global citizen. You will attend lectures, labs and tutorials each week, examining viewpoints from different perspectives: science, social science, fine arts and humanities.

You’ll gain early access to advising, workshops, social activities, experiential learning opportunities and more! You will get to know the campus, meet fellow students and your professors, and familiarize yourself with the resources we offer.
