Every student holds a spark of potential. At the University of Lethbridge, our job is to nurture that spark and help you discover what makes you shine. It’s about more than an education; we want you to find your path and give you the tools for a lifetime of personal and professional success.

On February 2, we will be hosting a spring Exploration Open House so you can learn about our programs and all the unique opportunities that await you in and out of the classroom at uLethbridge. If you are in grades 10 or 11 and just starting to think about university, or attending another post-secondary and want to see if uLethbridge is a good fit, this event is for you!

Don’t worry, if you are in grade 12 and still deciding your post-secondary future, we’ll have something for you too.

Attend our Faculty and Student Service booth fair, meet staff and current students, and take a campus tour. Stop by one of the many sessions to experience first-hand which program might be the best fit for you.

Graduate students, we have something for you too!

The School of Graduate Studies (SGS) at uLethbridge invites all prospective graduate students to the Exploration Open House on February 2, 2019. It’s an excellent opportunity to learn about program offerings, funding opportunities, student services, research centres and institutes, and the facilities available at uLethbridge.

We live where the Rocky Mountains meet the Alberta Prairies, an area surrounded by big skies, vast plains, rolling river valleys and a view of snowtopped mountain peaks. Home to 99,000 people, Lethbridge is a place where ideas grow. With both a university and a college, we are a campus community. Culturally vibrant with a flourishing arts scene and active social scene, we boast stunning scenery (the High Level Bridge and the Oldman River); four distinct seasons; spectacular sunrises and glowing sunsets that illuminate Alberta’s big sky. You can drive anywhere in our city in 20 minutes.

There is plenty to do both on campus and off. Listen to a band; go for coffee; watch a movie (one of our theatres is owned by a uLethbridge alumnus and movies only cost $5!); check out festival square; take in a game or a concert; go to a play in Galt Gardens; sing at an open mic night or go to a comedy show. Lethbridge offers something for everyone.

Southern Alberta is home to some of the world’s best skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking and camping spots, and Lethbridge is a stone’s throw from a variety of provincial and national parks, like Waterton Lakes and Kananaskis; heritage and historic sites, like Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump and Writing-On-Stone; as well as the U.S., B.C. and Saskatchewan borders. We are two hours away from Calgary, which has an international airport.
